Car Accident

This morning my brother got in a car accident. He is fine. The only injury he sustained is a broken left collarbone and some slight scratches. The car, however did not fair so well. Between me, my brother, and our mom we have three Honda accords of different years. this morning the youngest of the three met its match in the form of a one two combination punch from a rather large puddle on the 110 freeway, and a tree. The good news is that Adam is ok and that he doesn't have to go to drill this week. The bad news according to Adam is that this throws off his workout schedule.

Workout

So instead of watching the Stupor Bowl with friends or family, even though my brother was having people over to do just that on his Sharp Aquos LCD TV, I took my girlfriend to the gym and hit the elliptical trainer. Now I'm tired! Yesterday before hosting a D&D game I went to the gym with my mother and brother for some weights and 30 minutes of cardio. Today was 45 minutes and just a little weights. It is so past my bedtime!

Oh and I still managed to catch the last 5 minutes of the "Big Game"(as all unofficial personnel must refer to it) what an upset, If I were from Arizona, and a football fan, and prone to displays of emotion I would be crying right now.

Losses

Lately I have been losing a few things, important things with personal value.
I have lost the knife that my brother gave me before he started boot camp. I believe it came out of my pocket under a desk somewhere at work, so It is probably just a matter of time before find it again. I am upset because I have had that knife for almost 7 years and It was a gift from my brother.

I have lost the silver ouroboros ring that my father's wife had made for me. I was at a restaurant called Captain Crab and I took off my ring and watch to keep them from getting all crab juiced up. I put the watch band through the ring and put them both in my pocket. I haven't seen them since then. I designed the ring myself, and passed off the drawings. It was made from my design and the drawings and the ring were returned to me afterward. It is truly one-of-a-kind, and it was gift. It has a high personal value. I am very upset that I lost this ring. I really don't know what to do. I want that ring, and its not the same if I try to have it made again. Damn

Other things of much lesser value that are currently missing are my running watch (a timex) and my backup knife that must have fallen out of my pocket when I sprained my ankle and fell to the ground. I feel that this may be my winter for losing things.

4.5 mile run

I finally got my running shoes back on. I was trying to get in my 11mile run, but I figured that I had better get some regular runs in or I would feel like crap and have trouble getting to sleep and waking up in the morning... like last night/this morning. So after a little work brought home from the office, I slapped on the shoes and went for a run. It felt really good to get my body going again. I am really getting to the point where runs of 30-60 minutes feel good, and my body misses them if I don't do it.

On a separate note, My cousin Alexis called me today asking for a ride to work. It seems that she works about a half a mile from my apartment. So I took off from work early to help her out. She should be done with work soon and I will give her a ride home. It was nice to see her and hopefully we will hang out a little now that we know how close we are to each other.
