Workin out

So this week was a mixed success for personal endeavors. I hit the gym on Monday went to HapKiDo on Tuesday, and got in a 3 mile run (3:1 run:walk 33m45s) but I didn't complete the set with a second helping of HapKiDo on Thirsday. Maybe next week I will manage to get all four days down.

I also went around to my banks and got my cash situation rearranged. With the current federal discount rate being so low, there isn't much interest that the banks are paying on deposits, but I am now getting the best available. Gotta get the rest of my stock account invested.

Rambling thoughst after a run

This is going to be a long post so skip to the sections that interest you.

The Warriors
Last night/this morning I went to a midnight showing of "The Warriors." I went with three of my friends, to the Nuart theater in Los Angeles. We had a bunch of fun. Movies really are better in a theater.

Running

Sarah and I went for a run today at 6:00pm It was 7 miles and took an hour and a half. It was a good run, towards the end my legs began to get tired and I was very hungry. Sarah was feeling bad up until about half way when she perked up. It was really great to run with her, which I haven't done for months.

Weight Loss
Before the run I went to the citadel outlet shops just off the 5 freeway, and bought some new jeans at the Levi's store. I bought two pair of jeans to replace old torn pairs, and was able to buy a size smaller then before. My new size is 34W/30L down from 36W/30L. This is quite a big thing for me (no pun intended) and I am stoked!

RHPS
I will be going out to the Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight. A friend from London will be coming out to the show. I haven't seen Martin since last year when he graciously showed us around London, even taking a day off work to take us around. Sarah will be performing as Janet, and It will be my 13th time watching Rocky.

Stocks
I have gotten back into the stock market. If only just a little bit. I bought some GEOI. I am looking at some others, but I need to get used to doing research.

Languages
I am starting to get back to wanting to learn another language. I am thinking of Latin, Spanish, or German. Maybe I need to learn to do things one at a time.
